A Chinese rosewood and mother-of-pearl inlaid chair, Qing Dynasty, late 19th to early 20th century, a slightly waisted chair profusely embellished throughout, the crest and splat pierced and carved with dragon and phoenix designs, an inlaid roundel of a bird amidst prunus to the serpentine shaped seat, the carved apron with bird and peach motifs, raised on cabriole legs with 'H' form stretchers, height 106 cm, width 48 cm, depth 49 cm
