A George II silver coffee pot, of mildly tapering form on circular spreading and domed foot and with high domed hinged cover with knopped finial, anthemion decoration to spout, double scroll boxwood handle. Engraved underneath with a betrothal triangle 'M over T*E'. London 1739, attributed to Francis Spilsbury I (marks rubbed). Weight 735gms. Height 24.5 cm
