A hardstone inlaid hardwood portable chest, Guanpixiang, the domed cover with ruyi -head metal fittings, above a pair of doors opening to reveal two pairs of short and one long drawer, the sides set with bail handles and a chain joining the cover and side, the cover inlaid in various coloured hardstones with a long tailed bird perched on a blossoming peony tree beside bamboo and lingzhi fungus, the front with fruiting peach and finger citron, the doors with cranes beside pine, bamboo and lingzhi fungus, 39 cm high, 39.5 cm wide, 29.5 cm deep
