A 'dreamstone' marble inset hongmu sofa, 19th/20th century, the shaped openwork crestrail simulating scrolling bamboo canes entwined with fruiting vine with song birds perched in the branches, the central vase-shaped splat flanked by two further marble inset supports, the solid seat with simulated bamboo edges extending to the rolled armrests pierced with endless knot motifs, above the apron extending to shaped legs joined by cross stretchers and scroll feet, 112 cm high, 181 cm wide, 58 cm deep
