A fine and rare Russian silver gueridon, T. Werners, Minsk, circa 1890, with a circular gallery-edged top, above a flared apron with a pierced border, supported on three slender, legs, each with a vacant cartouche to the top on a stippled and cast foliate ground, united by a tri-form scroll stretcher and flame finial, terminating in scroll feet, scroll legs, hallmarked to the apron and beneath the top 'T. Werneriska', anchor trademark, 84 standard and town mark for Minsk, 5690 gms, 74.5 cm high, 39.5 cm diameter. Provenance. Private Collection, Perth.
