A pair of carved hardwood mother of pearl and 'dreamstone' marble inlaid armchairs and a pair of side tables, early 20th century, (4), (1840-1916), the Blue Mansion, Penang, each chair of ruyi outline, the back and arms inlaid with flowering prunus and fruiting vine and inset with a 'dreamstone' marble plaque within a band of shou characters, the wood seat supported on corner legs joined by inlaid aprons and a double cash stretcher, the side tables with a marble inset square top above a pierced apron and single shelf, (4), each chair 103 cm high, 86 cm wide, 53 cm deep, each table 81 cm high, 45 cm wide, 45 cm deep
