A pair of hardwood low-back armchairs, Meiguiyi, 19th/20th century, (2), each with a straight crestrail continuing to the back posts, enclosing a central rectangular splat carved with panels of flowering plants between pierced chilong and lotus blooms, either side framed with pierced scrollwork, the straight arms joined to the seat by vertical struts, the legs joined by a plain beaded apron and stepped stretchers, (2), 95 cm high, 57 cm wide, 44 cm deep
