A Japanese gilt Kyo-Yaki figure of a seated Buddha 19th/20th century, on a stoneware body, a Shaka Nyorai or historical depiction of Buddha and in a meditation mudra (gesture). The body gilt in sumptuous gold with the robes in overglaze green, yellow and brown depicting dragons amongst clouds, 34 cm high.
