Two various Spode armorial plates, including one with motto 'Fortiter Defendit Triumphans' (as inspected: rim chip). Impressed mark to base. Label verso indicates plate originates from Sir A. Cambert's collection and was from Newcastle Mansion House sale 1837), the other plate with motto 'To God Only be to all Glory'. Impressed and printed marks to base, together with title 'Master TG 1821-22' (As inspected: hairline crack). Diameter 25 cm (each).
