Chinese late Qing Dynasty archaic style jade ewer, the ovoid form, carved on one side with an animal head loop handle of rectangular section, opposite the broad spout, either side decorated with a panel of grain pattern below stylised bird scrolls, the pale mushroom coloured stone with some opaque white mottling and russet suffusions, a/f, height 8.5 cm.
