An antique garnet and peridot brooch, 9ct yellow gold with high carat overwash, Victorian, presented as a large endless knot style panel of finely worked and engraved gold, scrolled to each open end in a flared design, centrally detailed by three foil backed oval garnets, claw set in a flush mount, further detailed by two smaller pale green stones of round shape, fitted to reverse with pin and 'S' bend for pendant. Length 6 cm
