A carved cinnabar lacquer fived-lobed box and cover, six character Qianlong mark and of the period, the flat surface of the cover is crisply carved through layers of lacquer, a raised circle with a bronze and porcelain vessel, each set with dense foliage, fruit and flowers on a diaper ground surrounded by five large blooms separated by a large key fret, the interior fitted in blue silk and raised cylindrical sections for six archer's rings, a Qianlong poem painted in gold inside the lid, diameter 15 cm, height 5 cm.
