Fine large George III sterling silver twin handled, cup, hallmarked, London, 1767, Whipman & Wright, with finial, above domed cover, set with a gadrooned border and baluster body engraved with coat of arms of Leigh. Or Lee with Hutchison in pretence, the motto 'Legum Servi Liber' means 'The Law Protects Freedom', the inscription indicates that the cup was a gift from Mr Robert Pardoe of Lincoln's Inn.
