[Thomas Ingoldsby] a complete three volume set of 'The Ingoldsby Legends,' by Thomas Ingoldsby Esq. [1894], edited by Mrs Edward A. Bond, pub. Richard Bentley and Son, London, bound by Bickers and Son, Leicester square, leather and cloth bound, illustrated, stamped with gilt writing and decoration to each spine, marbled endpapers and includes bandw illustration on steel by George Cruickshank. Enscribed 'Drawing room case 62' to each, condition: fading to the brown leather, some yellowing and very slight foxing to papers, very readable and excellent condition considering age. Provenance: This set was kept in the drawing room of the McGaw family Manor in St Leonard's Forest, Sussex
