An early 19th century Chinese temple water urn, squat circular shape, raised on a domed foot, the flattened cover surmounted by a foo dog finial, elephant head handles issue from the sides, the tap formed as a dragon head with water issuing from the mouth. The lid, body and base decorated with encircling bands of swastika scrolls and further with lappet panels. Height 50 cm
