A three piece Victorian 'Persian' sterling silver tea service, 1871 London, with maker's marks for Barnard & Sons limited, of delightful exotic form, the teapot with a tiered, waisted body, dome lid and a compressed lower body, having a fantastic dragon spout and continuous borders of chevrons, navette and scrolling motifs, the creamer and sugar bowl similar, with beaded inverted rims and petite ear shaped bracket handles; crisply hallmarked to all components, silver weight 616gr height 13.5 cm, (teapot)
