A Regency brass inlaid rosewood and leather upholstered bergere library chair, circa 1830, with twist carved terminals to the crest rail, above a buttoned burgundy leather upholstered back, seat and sides, flanked by padded arms leading to fluted pilasters, inlaid with cut-brass foliate panels to the crest rail, apron and stiles, raised on fluted and foliate carved supports with brass caps and castors, 90 cm high, 67.5 cm wide, 76 cm deep
