Provenance: Private Collection, New Zealand. Compare with the same edition sold by Peter Arnold Pty Ltd, The Library of Dudley Dickison, together with other properties, 17 September 2007, Melbourne, lot 11. The present example is believed to be the only first edition of the work sold in Australia by public auction since this time.
