An 18th century porcelain figural perfume bottle, attributed to St James (Charles Gouyn), circa 1754, the Siros Collection, South Australia, modelled as cupid seated beside a flowering rose holding a world globe in his hands, beneath a stopper modelled as a rose (replacement), the base inscribed with the motto 'Je Soutines Le Monde', the underside painted with a rose sprig, 7.5 cm high.
