A rhinoceros horn 'monkey and deer' libation cup, Qing dynasty, 17th/18th century, the flared sides carved on the exterior in relief with monkeys and deer in a continuous rocky landscape, with two slender trees growing from the openwork rockwork base and extending up the sides to form the handle, the patina of warm reddish-brown colour, fitted wood stand, 18.5 cm wide
