A pair of polychrome ivory plaques, Qing dynasty, each of concave rectangular form, finely carved in deep undercut relief with insects and flowering stems, one with a spray of pink chrysanthemum, the other with flowering morning glory, the insects above and below the green leafy stems picked out in brown and black, the convex reverse painted with rocky cliffs, wood stands, 13.2 cm long.
