A rare dated bronze libation cup, Jue Qing dynasty, Qianlong period, the deep U-shaped body supported on splayed tripod legs, the sides with a frieze of key-fret in relief, set on one side with a loop handle springing from an animal's head, the rim with a pair of domed finials to either side, a rectangular plaque enclosing an inscription beneath the broad spout, dated to the 3rd year of Qianlong, corresponding to 1748, 17 cm wide.
