1996 Atlanta Olympic Torch, aluminium and pecan wood, cylindrical shape, 80 cm tall. (Designed by Peter Mastroganis. The 22 silver reeds on the upper half represent the 22 cities which hosted the Summer Games since 1896, the wooden pecan handle represents the connection of the flame between heaven and earth. The Atlanta Torch logo and the Quilt of Leaves design are on the top brass band, the bottom band names all the Summer Olympic Games host cities)
