Bronze Seahorse shaped vessel, Naga Morsarang, Toba Batak people of Sumatra, the zoomorphic deity with human figures on the back was used for magical potions, the hollow horn shape incised with foliate designs, good patina on a plexiglass stand. Provenance: The late Dr Peter Elliott AM left an outstanding collection of Indonesian artefacts to the University of Sydney's Museums. Funds raised from the sale will go towards the conservation, care and research of the Elliott collection., height 10 L13 cm
