A Burmese gilt wood spirit figure, with an inscription around the front of the oval cushion shaped plinth, 19th/20th century, in the posture of 'Royal ease', a beautiful young face inlaid with half closed glass eyes below a monobrow, a stepped crown with a flamed finial, wearing a scalloped collar and tight fitted trousers, height 59 cm, length 41 cm.
