A Chinese ivory carved round cover box, Qing dynasty (1664-1912), carved in relief, the lid depicting two cranes, one flying on top of a pine tree, one standing on the wave, and two bats flying amongst clouds, the centre of the base with a 'Shou' character circulated with five bats, surrounded by a band of eight 'Shou' character shaped clouds., 5 cm diameter.
