An important Victorian diamond riviere, circa 1890, of graduated design, collet set with forty-eight old brilliant cut diamonds, the centre stone of estimated weight 3.17 carats. Individual surrounding stones of estimated weights 2.5 carats, 2.35 carats, 2.48 carats, 2.17 carats, 2.12 carats, 1.81 carats, 1.39 carats, 1.29 carats, 1.35 carats, 1.43 carats, 1.24 carats, 1.43 carats, 1 carat and twenty-eight diamonds each of estimated weight 0.60 carat, and six diamonds each of estimated weight 0.93 carat. Total estimated diamond weight 48 carats. 15ct yellow gold and silver. Weight 40.45 grams. Fitted box.
