A 19th century Chinese travelling folding double chair back folding seat, the plain turned supports with curved back supports and central splats, red lacquered highlights, folding form, the seat with old rope strapping. Note: these seats reputedly used by wealthy farmers/landlords. Provenance: Purchased Hong Kong c.1970s. 113 cm x 45 cm x 1010.
