An exceptional seven-piece 19th century boulle desk set in the Louis XIV manner, traditional scrolling designs in cut brass and inlaid tortoise shell, including a Samuel Mordan & Co., London postal scale, the platform base with six circular brass weights; together with a covered writing pad; a covered notepad; a pair of candlesticks, a photo frame and a lidded circular box. All pieces in fine condition commensurate with age.
