A Coalport cup with similar saucer, early 19th century, the bute cup with a simple loop handle with military attired cupids flanking a Roman centurion upon a pillar, the saucer with an elongated figure holding a spear, decorated in matte bronze and olive colours, the cup with gilt rims, the saucer with diamond patterned gilt borders, unmarked.
