A fine Georgian sterling silver swing handled basket, circa 1818 London, with maker's mark for Solomon Hougham, Solomon Royes & John East Dix, rubbed marks, a heavy gauge rectangular boat shaped basket with gadroon edges, an ogee profile tiered rim and a waisted gadroon edged base, the swollen handle with stiff leaf and floral motifs; rubbed hallmarks to body. Silver weight 1018gr height 12.5 cm. Length 31.5 cm. Width 27.5 cm
