A Chinese cherrywood altar table, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, the altar table of typical form with a shallow top slightly curved at both ends above a waisted section and a richly carved apron on three sides, the front with opposite dragons chasing a flaming pear, and the sides with Buddhist symbols, raised on straight square section legs.
