A fine 18ct gold, enamel, gem-set and South Sea pearl Easter egg and surprise, Victor Mayer for Faberge, of ovoid form applied with blue guilloche enamel supported on a gold base with three fluted legs, the top and base decorated at intervals with florets embellished with circular-cut rubies and diamonds further suspending laurel swags, the cover surmounted by an 13.30 mm Tahitian cultured pearl finial, opening to reveal an 18.40 mm cultured pearl above a scallop shell, gross weight approximately 219.00 grams, height approximately 100 mm, signed Faberge, numbered 6/6.
