Set of 14 Russian Imperial silver soup spoons, St. Petersburg 1857 (assay master A.M.), 22 cm long, 1194 grams approx Provenance: Owners fled Russian circa 1917 and settled in Tientsin (Tianjin) China and became part owners of Talati House Hotel, which was frequented by Europeans living in the city. These forks were used as part of the cutlery service in the hotel.
