A pair of Continental and porcelain gilt bronze candelabra 19th century, each having an ornate gilt acanthus leaf foot rising to an ovoid porcelain body, painted with a vignette, showing rustically clad maidens in a wooded landscape setting, within a foliate decorated gilt cartouche, the reverse with a similar cartouche painted with a spray of flowers, on a bleu celeste ground, raising to a slender neck flanked by griffon handles, emanating three foliate arms terminating in flower head sconces. Height 51 cm
