A gilt metal mounted Sevres pattern vase signed C. Rochette raised on a gadrooned gilt metal plinth, the ovoid body painted with a scene of lovers walking arm in arm in a wooded landscape, within a scrolling gilt cartouche, the reverse with a scene of a chateau, flanked by scroll handles, surmounted by a gilt rim and domed cover with a cone finial, printed and painted marks. Height 42 cm
