A rare zitan ruyi-form washer, Qing Dynasty, 18th century, the giant fungus beautifully carved with smaller ruyi on the curled up sides and exterior and a bat in flight above more fungus and tendrils forming a base, the timber dark purple, the washer supported on the original huanghuali stand, which is intricately carved with further intertwined ruyi heads, washer: 13.7 long, 9.9 cm wide (variable), stand: 5.6 cm high, 13.4 cm wide, 8.3 cm deep.
