A Longquan celadon-glazed Guan, Southern song-Yuan Dynasty, 14th century, the bulbous body moulded on the exterior with a twenty-four leaf lotus design and covered in an unctuous pale green glaze inside and out, the thick footrim and the narrow mouth-rim burnt brick-red, 10 cm high, 11.3 cm diameter (at the mouth), Japanese wood cover and base.
