A fine Qingbai ewer and cover, Northern song (960-1127), covered with a creamy-white glaze, the cover surmounted with a Buddhist lion, the body with a high looped handle and curved vertical spout, a raised band around the shoulder, the unglazed base chalky-white, 23 cm high.
