Two Tibetan Sutra leaves, circa 12th-15th century, from the Perfection of Wisdom text, polychrome and gilt on a black ground, each one with an inscription in Tibetan, one flanked by Prajnaparaminta and Buddha Sakyamuni, 73 cm high, 21.5 wide cm and 71 cm high, 18 cm wide. Reference: see Treasures of Asian Art, Selections from the John D. Rockefeller Collection 1999, cat. No. 17, pp. 36-36 for a similar manuscript of five pages, dated circa 1150.
