A Chinese soft paste square censer, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), in an archaic Fangding form, moulded taotie mark pattern decorated on each side separated by four vertical flanges, the body supported on four animal mask legs, two upright handles issuing from the mouth rim, the knob moulded with a fufu dog laying and holding a ball, covered with an ivory white crackle glaze, 24.5 cm high, 13.3 cm diameter.
