A Chinese cinnabar lacquer dish, Qianlong mark, and possibly of the period, Qing dynasty, with floral rim, deeply carved with a five claw dragon chasing a flaming pearl on the waves in the centre, six bats flying amongst Ruyi head clouds decorated inside out of the cavetto, four Buddhist symbols carved on a 'Jingdi' background, six-character 'Qianlong' mark squared by a band of keyfret pattern to the centre of the base, mouth and base mounted with a metal rims. 23.5 cm diameter, wood stand.
