An early 20th century Royal Doulton lidded urn, hand painted by John Huge Plant, the ovoid body with four tall lobed panels finely painted with country scenes including thatched rooved houses within an extensive landscape, the cobalt blue ground with ornate gilt enrichments, the domed cover with spire like finial, signed by the artist, printed marks to the base.
