A pair of mid-20th century large Maori carved figured panels, the man with lineal scrolls with notched detail, full moko and three Huia feathers to his hair, supported on a part-stylised mask, the stylised woman in similar form holding two carved gourds, dominant red paint finish with black and white highlights. Heights 141.5 cm and 150 cm. Rotorua school.
