English hallmarked sterling silver Victorian gilt dessert service comprising a pair of grape shears, sugar sifter & a pair of berry spoons, having raised classical themed detail, & floral engraving. Set in an aubergine silk & velvet lined hard case. London, 1878, maker Henry John Lias & James Wakely. Condition: good, slightly loose hinge on the scissors, some wear to the gilt wash, age related wear to the case. Length of spoons 23 cm. Weight 393g
