English hallmarked sterling silver Victorian Bachelor teapot having a round body with hand-chased curved half fluting, with a band of hand-engraved gadrooned raised decoration, a dragon & fleur de lis cartouche, a pie crust edge cape border, wooden insulated handle, a hinged domed lid with wooden finial. London, 1887, maker John Henry Rawlings. Condition: good, slightly loose lid & handle, split to the handle. Height 11 cm. Weight including finial & handle 264g
