A fine and imposing burr elm William IV centre table, circa 1830’s, the finely inlaid table upon an oak carcass with a shallow skirt and carved leaf border raised on a tapering faceted pedestal to an extravagant circular base richly carved with lappet and acanthus borders and raised on four monumental lion's paw feet with squashed bun supports.
