A fine Japanese parquetry and lacquer jewellery cabinet, Meiji to Taisho period, early 20th century, the cabinet with two cupboards opening to six small parquetry embellished drawers above two small drawers and a full width drawer, finely decorated in gilt and subtle red colours with flora and birds in blossom and fruiting branches, with well cast brass spandrels, locks and hinges and raised on shaped bracket feet.
