A fine Napoleon III gilt metal mounted scarlet boulle credenza, the reverse breakfront top with a gadrooned moulded edge above an acanthus leaf decorated frieze, having a central mirrored door with scrolling cut brass inlay flanked by two scarlet tortoiseshell and brass inlaid doors with central mask head mounts flanked by four caryatid pilasters, raised on a conforming plinth base with bacchanalian masks and scrolls, 240 x 122 x 53.5 cm
