Two Japanese Carved Ivory, Stagshorn And Wooden Pipe Cases With Tobacco Pouches Late 18th/19th century Comprising a stagshorn pipe case carved with a leafing bean pod, the tobacco case with conforming decoration joined by a black cord and an ojime in the form of a dog, the pipe case 19.5 cm long; and a wood pipe case carved in the form of a dragon containing a cloisonne mounted bamboo pipe, the tobacco case modelled as a squat grimacing figure holding the cord joined by a spherical ojime over his head, the pipe case 21 cm long.
